Our mission is to assist our clients in creating best tour itineraries by providing our honest expertize using our dedicated office staff and local team on the ground (local guides, chefs, porters, drivers and others who knows their places and community better) to explore Tanzania’s hidden treasure!

Most of our tours are designed in the way that it is possible for our clients to experience the natural environment of our countryside by exploring the indigenous flora and fauna by incorporating short visits/ excursion to a nearby local village home or a market to learn and share their culture and normal way of life.

We are active member of Kilimanjaro Association of Tour Operators (KIATO). KIATO members ensure proper pay and acceptable treatment of mountain crews including guides, mountain guides, chefs and porters.

We are in favor and committed to fair treatment of porters and other mountain crew on Kilimanjaro. We support Porter’s Unions such as KPA & TPO and our practices conforms with KINAPA (Kilimanjaro National Park) guidelines and standard requirements for Responsible Travel and Sustainable Tourism practices that will always ensure that Kilimanjaro mountain crew are properly dressed, well fed, carry recommended weight (15 kg only) and most importantly, see to it that the recommended wage is paid in due time.

Trek & Hide Adventures give back to the community by its partnership with the local community and directly support MWAMI Foundation; a non-governmental and non-profit organization based and operating in Tanzania. MWAMI Foundation is designed to Improving Health Services and Community Development by giving Voice to Voiceless and Power to powerless in the marginalized community through empowering adolescents, women and children to demand entrepreneurship, life skills, gender based violence, environmental conservation, agriculture and access high desired healthcare services.
