The Safari will begin atFumbavillage by exploringMenai Bay, home to humpback and bottlenose dolphins. You’ll meet your local guide for a pre tour briefing followed by sailing on a traditional dhow to Kwale sandbank where sunshades will be set and clients have a chance to go for snorkeling in the coral reefs. Lunch and drinks will be saved under the tamarind trees!
For the clients who are nature lovers and would love to enjoy the show of the dolphins will board the traditional dhow and set a sail on the ocean along Kizimkazi areas in search of the majestic bottle-nosed and spinner dolphins while others may engage on a sun bathe or sail on a local traditional dhow to visit the beautiful mangrove lagoon and take a swim in the warm waters of the lagoon assisted by the guide; before heading back to Fumba late in the afternoon.

SPICE TOUR
Spice tour is one of the most popular excursions in the Island. Zanzibar became well known as a ‘Spice Island’ for over the past 150 years ago when it started to exporting cloves, cardamom, vanilla, ginger, pepper, nutmeg, allspice etc.
You will transfer to the spice farm and walk through the farm with a guide and experience the feeling, smelling and tasting different spices and tropical fruits. You will also learn their properties, their origin and their use in medicine, food and drink. Depending on the season, you can find all spices of Zanzibar including cardamom, vanilla, cinnamon, turmeric, cloves, coriander, pepper etc. Fruits includes mango, pawpaw, banana, grape fruit, avocado, tangerine, passion fruit, pineapple, jackfruit and many more!
You will enjoy lunch prepared at the farm and go through a cooking lesson designed for those who would like to personally use their hand to cook a delicious Swahili meals! The tour will end with a tour in a local village to share Zanzibari culture and normal way of life… here you will be able to experience weaving, cooking, building of houses and playing with children.
JOZANI FOREST TOUR
This tour will take you to the wonder of delight, with tales of Zanzibar leopards, local medicine and great scenery! You will see the troops of Red Colobus monkeys scrambling on the branches as they eat, play and jump across the treetops. The tour will also take you to the mangrove swamp located in the forest to see tropical fish flitting between the mangrove roots and crabs scuttling across the mud!
