Booking Procedures

Once an itinerary & Invoice are approved and confirmed by both parties, 40% deposit is required to secure your trip with us so as to begin all the necessary booking processes. Final payment is paid 35 days prior to your departure date in order to finalize ground preparations for your tour. Final balance can also be paid in cash (Post 2007 SERIES USD bills please) upon arrival in Tanzania.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation of any confirmed tour or failure to join our tour follows the procedures below:
A written cancellation from any confirmed pax or member of a group received by Trek & Hide Adventures Co. Limited within:-

  • 35 days or longer = NO PENALTY
  • 20 to 34 days = 30% PENALTY
  • 15 to 19 days = 50% PENALTY
  • 14 to 18 days = 75% PENALTY
  • 13 or less = 100% PENALTY

The canceling party may look for a replacement and as such, penalty will not be applicable.

The deposit must be made upon tour confirmation to secure your spot. Full payments must be made before departing for any of our tour.

Please Note:

  • If the tour is cancelled within 20 to 34 days, a penalty of 30% will apply, and therefore if the client has already paid US$ 720.00 deposit, then US$ 504.00 minus the bank transfer charges will be refunded to that client within 15 days.
  • Standard Safari and Flight Bookings: Full payment is required in order to issue flight tickets and to secure accommodation for Safaris and in that case, there will be no refund for any flight cancellation or Safari accommodation cancellation made 34 days or less prior to the tour departure date.
